Government people need trade wars and all sorts of problems otherwise they might be found to be not needed and told to get a real job.

So they create all sorts of problems out of thin air with themselves being necessary to sort out the competing interests for opm.

Wars are also excellent for keeping cash flow going to selected people and for generally being alpha male demonstrative as chimps like to do to show who's boss.

Unfortunately, the gullible are easily brought into line to fight the evil foreigners. Americans seem to think they still need to be fighting Russia and many Euroserfs think the same. Look at the hysteria over the poisoned Russian father and daughter. So far there seems to be no evidence at all as to who dunnit. Samples of the poison are kept secret. That's suspicious for a start. UK murdered a couple of IRA in the 1980s in Spain. Same deal. But that was apparently fair enough.

It looks very much like an excuse to launch an attack on Russia. The enthusiasm suggests that it might have been an attack by somebody who actually wants an attack on Russia.
