Mr. "Stock":

Shame on you for writing such "nonesense." Your remark is not only
based on ignorance but also in very poor taste.

A look at the "record" will indicate that AIRM, since its inception,
has had an excellent safety record. Their equipment and pilots have been first rate. The pilots are seasoned, experienced and first rate.

But accidents happen even given the best equipment and the finest
pilots. Given the terrain and stormy conditions it is understandable that an accident could occur. The Air Methods pilot must have agonized over whether to transport the patient given the weather conditions and risk an accident or wait and risk the exacerbation of the injuries incurred by the patient. I certainly would not have wanted to have to make such a decision.

The close timing of the accidents gives an erroneous impression concerning Air Method's competence and excellence. The LONG TERM
recond of the company regarding safety is superb.

Ground ambulances have accidents as do automobile drivers. Neither
the companies that manufacture the ambulances or the cars go out of business.

Our hearts and prayers should go out to the victims of the accidents.
While the details remain to be disclosed; it seems that the pilot
had to deal with horrendous conditions and, tragically, was not successful in doing so.
