Add another lesson:

When a buyout comes, take the money on the open market unless
you want to play bidding wars and the like. In my case however it
is probably all for the better because I'd have bought more tech
stocks at over 2x their current price. Another benefit was to extend
the gain into 1998.

Have been in and out of TEAM several times, with good results.

Currently holding SPAR, think it's going into an upswing. I like management's frugality and (apparent) honesty.
