1. i did not mean to imply asnd does not have a dsl program. 2. as far as leaders in the the market, asnd is not to be found. i tried to find a chart i saw in a mag once, but could not find it. you would see pair, wstl, amtx/intc, and alcatel as the leaders. 3. asnd dsl technology is similar to comparing shva and asnd in the remote access market. this example is overdone, but asnd has little penetration in the market, nor is asnd's products viewed favorably. 4. the two main technologies are dmt (supposely slightly more market penetration) and cap (old 56k split camps again), asnd may want a foot in both camps.
