Interesting that the stock market is showing a tremendous amount of choppiness and volatility and yet Gold and the Miners are as calm as can be. As a transcendentalist, first and foremost, I always notice when a person or security stands above it all, watching what is about to transpire closely and calmly.
I continue to hold a boatload of hedges in the form of SPXS, so financially speaking, I am in the heavens with Gold.

Corporate buybacks and dividends in US companies. That's the lion's share. Some will be put into R&D and the rest invested in Treasuries. It is one reason this downturn may look a lot like 2001 and 2002. A slower grind downwards than the shock and awe cliff jump of 2008 and 2009. But I believe we'll see a 50% correction before it is complete. If Powell sticks to the QT and interest rate hike plans, then this all but assures the correction...and I believe that will be healthier for markets and investors long term than these ridiculously elevated prices we have now.
