(Off Topic) Asia and consciousness Its not possible to prevent these things from happening. All you can do is get together with other like minded people and figure out what is happening as it goes along. The majority of people will not wise up until they are basically broke. It reminds me of the 60's and watching Lyndon Johnson make mistake after mistake from Gulf of Tonkin to resignation. I was after all a history major. You can't get too far out in front of things especially history. What is happening in Asia is a major historical event with far reaching consequences. Naturally Wall Street thinks its insignificant. ============================= Check out today's NY Times Business section. It has 3 articles on Asia which give a good idea of the stakes in the Korean loan negotiations, the issue of where the money will come from, the fact that Korean is in technical default, and the immense number of a Chinese devaluation, and Japanese defaults.
