am guessing that the domestic opponents to trump, whatever their stand on trade, shall make it quite to extremely difficult for trump to do about-face / blink on trade war, and roll the dice on efficacious outcome not of trade war but w/r to trump just a guess iow, perhaps a confluence of events are unifying to weaponise the economy and financial markets for purely political ends otoh, given trump's personality(ies) and proven resiliency, if anyone can he can do about-face on trade after the good real estate negotiation tactical try watch & brief, but go to cash / near cash
