Yes, a lot of people in Europe and now here in the US are afraid to talk against the Politically Correct crowd. I'm not afraid to talk because I am retired and have plenty of money, so I don't need anything from anyone, including the government. It gives me the freedom to ask direct questions and challenge thinking without caring if someone likes me or not. It's the great thing about getting older. You lose the need to please others to get what you want. However, you gain the desire to teach others how to reach the happiness you've achieved. It turns out that is harder said than done, when so many people are brainwashed into thinking the government will provide for their needs. Nothing could be further from the truth. The government only gets to spend money they take from you and me. They will never be able to get enough money from you and me to make everyone happy. So they usually just dole it out to their cronies and give just enough crumbs out to the masses to fool them into thinking the promised utopia is close and attainable. That's Socialism for you. It's the carrot that never gets closer, no matter how fast you run on the hamster wheel.
