Yes, I think it was 1972-1974. I remember sitting in Marty Zweig's class at NYU and he was talking about how the S&P fell close to 50% and there was no recession, economy was fine. I think it was nifty 50 era. I could be off on the two year period, but it was in the 70s, probably during the Nixon crisis and impeachment proceedings. That can happen here with Trump, especially if the Dems sweep the House and possibly the Senate and they start going after Trump big time. All I'm saying is that there is a history to this and it can happen again without a recession.
