I think what Trump is doing in regard to tariff threats towards China is quite sick and dangerous. Moreover, I would take a dude like Trump or Bannon at their word and not try to interpret it in a polyannish manner as some sort of negotiating ploy that will get resolved. I think Trump is very anal and he means what he says. He really doesn't give a chit about the stock market. He has an agenda and if China doesn't acquiesce, he will play hardball and fuck the longs. Plus, there is the Mueller investigation and there is a good chance he comes up with some damaging things about Trump. And if the Dems are in control of Congress, you will have insanity here with impeachment proceedings taking hold. The stock market, as you know, does not respond very well to uncertainty or this kind of thing. The economy could keep chugging along and the market will tank under that scenario.

I don't think I am exaggerating here. Market tanks when Trump talks about Tariffs. Then market surges when Trump backs off a bit. It's a Trump market. Do you want to entrust your money to a madman like Trump, who blurts out something different every other day?
