That is a significant part of it, but even with stable populations they would have problems. If their population wasn't aging a number of those countries would be ok, but even with replacement fertility their populations would be getting older.

Both they and the US share the problem of fewer workers for each person receiving retirement or disability from the government. Also they all face the problem of increasing medical care costs (other countries generally have lower costs than the US, but costs are rising all over even if from a lower base in some places).
