TWY, here's the thing. You want to preserve defense spending but make deep cuts in Social Security and Medicare. Liberals don't want to touch SS and Medicare despite how much both have grown over the years. Instead, "Medicare for All" is now their slogan. Paid for by new taxes on the "rich" ... because the top 20% only pay like 87% of income taxes. Meanwhile, liberals will point out that we spend more on defense than China and Russia combined, and they're supposed to be our two biggest threats besides terrorism. Time to cut everyone's baby in half. Tenchusatsu
