With the surge of buying activity in the morning, it was only natural for MMs to inch the price up, both bid and ask, and this triggered a little bit of selling.
Based on the previous press releases, the news have to come out some time in the nearest future, - hence the buying. As for apparent absence of sellers, I do not agree with you. I think that the last four trades at .38 were sells (by the public to MM's, so from the MM stand point they were buys), with the volume of 5,500; 4,500; 4,500; and 7,000 shares.
