Went long on IRIDF yesterday at 33 1/2 after watching
it since the IPO. Short interest is nice and high --
ripe for a short squeeze. If IRIDF pops above 40, the
shorts will be scrambling.

Here's a table of monthly short interest on IRIDF:

Average
Shares daily
short volume S/A*
12/97 842,474 128,095 6.58
11/97 849,294 559,606 1.52
10/97 683,197 320,249 2.13
09/97 974,377 501,248 1.94
08/97 549,303 571,777 0.96
07/97 229,037 680,590 0.34
06/97 97,766 3,068,259 0.03

* S/A = Shares short/avgerage daily volume;
it may be used as a rough measure of days to cover.

Larry,

FLATODAY is not the most accurate. It is a reporting from the Floida Today Newspaper, and is not updated too frequently. Rely on it as a rough guide only.

I've been involved with launches that were two days away, and FLATODAY had them scheduled for months down the road.
