Hiya Kev

Well i finally got thru on SI..Sheesh!!! whata mess...

Hey FWIW, while I was kicking my computer, waving my hands and pounding the table<g>, i was looking at Point & Figure charts...

As of yesterday we were 100% oversold on the market...Yeah we could go lower but if earnings are ok, could get a surprise short term rally...

As you know I'm on the sidelines, and still adding to my current position in KLIC...

Semis are looking up & cheap....

Take Care

Kevin,

I am as bullish as they come, but I am like you.. kinda pulling up the covers and becomming a short term bear. Unfortunately there arent alot of positions that are lofty, maybe AOL, YAHOO, DELL etc that really will drop if a bear comes out to play, amybe RMBS too...

So I guess I will have to find new ways to make $$$, maybe trading those risky rascals the indexes.

A big hint of a bear market to me was the lack of inflows to equities, and the inflow to MMarkets etc. Investors are becomming a bit scared of the market, and without the flows, the bull might have to rest.

If technicals are in place come Wed I plan on putting INTC or maybe DELL, but the volume of puts on INTC is quite huge, spread from now until June, I was amazed.

Keep me updated on your positions, I didnt even know you were in ASND...

Oh please don't look for me to be hot. I only repeated what the statistical odds were and got burned myself. So I'm no Market Wizard but I always go with what I percieve to be the odds so I will be short again Thursday, shortly after the open...probably around 10, 10:30 EST and getting out around the bond close. Unless I am wrong and get stopped out again.

Wednesday I have other business so I have no opinion. Perhaps that is a good thing.

Kevin,
I found this url: 206.7.107.50
for top 50 option trades. Big contracts on TBR Apr 115, 125
and 130 calls early this morning about 12,000 contracts each.
Also note the IBM roll of Leaps '98 to '99 55 calls deep in the
money, KRB Jan99 15 calls at 5000.

Curious why early this morning PREM dip to about 5.5-6.0 while SP98H
was around 950 and there were no program sell or was not triggered.
