Brett: Please do as you see fit. Personally, I would not attempt to average down this stock...too risky. With Intel now receiveng gov't approval to acquire "Chips and Technology" in order to improve their graphics chips, and the "Merced" 64-bit chip coming down the pike, it is clear that Workstations are Intel's next target. There is no way SGI will be able to deliver price/performance ratios at Intel's price points. SGI stock might have a rally or two here and there over the next 12-18 months, and I'd use this as an exit.

Don't average down on a company that sucks as much as SGI. I hate this stock and the entire company. It will always be a loser!
