PV,

The push now is to 64MB and 256MB, for all intents and purposes
16MB will go the way of 4 MB within 1 year. The biggest factor
slowing down 256MB is photolithography, limitations. IBM will
be a leader along with other companies exploring x-ray lithography,
such as certain leading edge Japanese companies. We are talking
0.18uM and 0.13uM device geometries, which are about 2 years away
from production, IMHO.

Regards,
BB
