Trump now has us looking right into the face of world war with Russia and a world trade war. That would not have happened with Hillary. And that reality is what I have been worried about for the last 18 months because Trump is deranged and the village idiot, and IMO, defeating him rose above all other considerations. Working to elect Hillary to prevent Trump from being president , "was an all hands on deck proposition to protect our nation",and should have taken precedent above political party, tribalism or people feeling Hillary and the liberals were elitist. We are back to the Cuban missile but instead of having the smart JFK, Bobby Kennedy and Dean Rusk, Llewellyn E. Thompson and McGeorge Bundy, and others, the best and the brightest and sane people figuring it out; we have a deranged and stupid Trump, John Bolton a crazy super hawk who was a major architect of the Iraq war and sociopathic militarist Pompeo. And Trump warns Russia to get ready for our missiles and war with a tweet. That is the behavior of a deranged idiot, the village idiot. How do we survive three years of this? PS and during eight years of Obama we never once has either worry. Why having a smart president is so important.

Hillary- if you read her proposals, of which there were many- was actually working very much for the non-elite American. She's a wonk, so she didn't communicate it very well. You may confuse "competence" with "elitism". Hillary was just competent. Sure, she's a bit of a hawk- and I didn't like that, but at least she understood the law, and how government works, and she wasn't going to destroy the country. I realize the schmucks who thought Hillary was "elite" and Trump- rich, scummy, con man Trump- was "better"- may have felt "left out" but that was probably because they were too stupid to read Hillary's policy statements, or they were unable to listen to complete sentences- because Hillary was all about trying to do things for the non-elites, if you listened to her or read her platform. Bernie, bless his heart, has never done much and has never had to do much. He's a good spittin' demagogue though. And if Hillary had been a little more of a demagogue, or if Comey hadn't been quite so much of an idiot, or the Russians hadn't been quite so successful- we'd have President Hillary right now, and most of us would feel a lot more comfortable waking up and reading the news of a morning- and we'd be on the 37th Benghazi hearing...

Trump and Hillary are both elites. Neither one of them uses a computer. Neither one. In this day and age. They have people who handle that stuff for them. Hillary had her Blackberry, which is how she dealt with email...and caused her problems. Trump has his smartphone. He never uses a computer. Think about that for a minute. I realize people in this age range vary greatly in their abilities to deal with technology. But basic desktop or laptop computers and email? Says a lot about both those candidates. Trump has the ability to talk like a character from the Roseanne show. That made a big difference. Democrats used to be better at it. That said, I wish to hell the President was Hillary. Trump appears to be getting dumber/ more senile by the day.
