He has ulterior motives, plus he seems cracked these days, which he is shamelessly advancing by supporting Trump just like so many right wingers have e.g. the evangelicals and plutocrats with their tax cuts and de regulation. Everyone knows Trump is a criminal and deranged. It doesn't take a constitutional lawyer to see Trump is nothing more than a simple brutal criminal like Puti his hero. It is Trumps barbarism that is on trial. His lying and efforts to undermine our social system and democracy that are the problem. He calls the raid a break in and lies about it.
