Steven- if someone commits a crime- like meddling in our election, or if someone makes a pivotal announcement just days before the election about a criminal case involving a candidate- then THEY are to blame. It's kind of obvious. That's not Hill's fault. She didn't call up Comey and go, "Hey dude, you know what I really, really want? Make a big announcement about a criminal investigation involving me! That would be cool." Now if she said that, sure- her fault. If not- not so much.
