You are still not getting it. You are not connecting events in a logical fashion.

Our getting rid of LBJ did NOT force the US to elect Nixon. Had Bobby not been killed he would have been president. And if Macarthy had not had the nomination stolen he probably would have been president.

But even that is not relevant. No one connected getting rid of LBJ to electing Nixon. That was impossible to predict, except in hindsight (which is what you are doing) with all the variables known. Hindsight is 20/20.

And you did not elect Reagan, he was a manifestation of the times we were living in and the old right wing's inability to figure out what was going on;

and it was a cultural revolution who's time had come.
