I don't disagree with what you are saying. But a President needs a Plan and he has to follow it. What we have with Trump is an emotional circus. I felt TPP was easier and more efficient to begin with because it allows one to have a trade agreement with 11 countries rather than negotiating 11 separate trade agreements. The key, of course, is getting a good agreement that everyone is satisfied with and thinks is fair and reciprocal.
