It would be very interesting if i-node and koan revealed their competing visions of what is progress.

Reagan was nothing but old hat oligarch's tricking the people and protesting against change they did not understand except as a threat to their power. That is as old as the ages.

You apparently participated in something you did not even understand.

Today we live in the most existential age in history, bar none. This is the first time in history that we are living according to things we figure out in our mind, based on modern facts and logic, and not according to a primitive script mandated by our culture, any culture e.g. misogyny, caste systems, racism, and homophobia.

That has never happened before in the history of the world and that is existentialism.

As Dylan said: "Something is happening here and you don't know what it is, do you Mr Jones."?

It was all of the west, Beetles, Hesse, Thomas Mann, Europe , etc, but not the East.

But in the last few years the East is now replicating what we did 50 years ago.

Great amounts of the East's cinema over the last few years is engaged in what we accomplished 50 years ago.

"as I have said many times the 60's was the first major existential revolution in the history of humankind."
You say lots of things, but it actually the beginning of the Raygun revolution. There was no existential revolution.
