But did he call out what amounted to coercion on the part of people like Bolton, Wolfowitz & Rumsfeld, et el to get the "intel" they wanted? Instead, he blames the underlings for not calling out the jackass leaders. There were underlings who protested at the time, and they were ignored or muzzled. IHMO, if Powell has a new book out still singing the song that the intel dept failed he is worse than a scoundrel.

I listened to his UN speech over again a few years ago and it seemed to me that HE was the primary proponent of the war in that administration. He was fully convinced and his assertions were absolute.
