The chicken or egg problem, or is it poor behavior vs economic opportunity. My reference to chicken and egg was not about the feedback loop but about the question of what started things. I lumped them together so it probably wasn't clear. You and CJ had insisted it was the economic problem, which suggests that all would be well but for that. I don't know how we can know, as in which came first, the chicken or the egg. As for the downward spiral, this is an open system and a complicated one. Lotsa stuff going blowing around in there and in and out of there. Did not mean to suggest otherwise. Was using the term in common parlance.
