Most workers and fixed income people already are in stagflation. Rising cost of living across the board, devaluing of the US$ taking away purchasing power. Rent taking up to 50 percent of some peoples earnings, cost of living rising faster than peoples wages. What will move gold? I don't think the average investor can, less than half of them have significant money to invest, the 10% who own 75% what will make them move to gold? It will take national banks, hedge and sovereign funds to move gold, and so far I see nothing that will make them move out of other asset classes. With that said I have been doing pretty good flipping Canadian Jr gold stocks, unlike the big boys they are moved by small investors.
