The chart of Dominion is remarkably similar to that of Duke, Southern and Con Edison from January when they announced the merger to the middle of March or so, when Dominion’s decline started to outpaced the others. So as best I can tell Dominions decline is mostly industry based, and not because of the merger. Not sure what happened in March to cause the divergence.

I am still a long term fan of Dominion. Their management has done a good job of integrating acquisitions in the past, and I don’t see any reason why they won’t be successful this time. I think Mr. Market is using Fear and uncertainty to try to scoop up shares from weak hands.
