Larry, We have the fiber optic cable already installed. This was installed last summer. I remember it very well because our cable was down from 9-5 for four days in a row and I couldn't watch CNBC so it was driving me nuts. It is more than the fiber optic which is needed. Apparently there is a second upgrade to allow for the two way communication and set up the nodes (whatever that means). I haven't heard back yet from Comcast but that is the missing piece. Melissa
