Michigan comment period has expired.

Jan. 12 was the last day. There hasn't been much fanfare, so I'm just pointing it out for the record. There's a period now when the results of the comment period are assembled and considered. The last I heard in December was that there had been no comments. Then the application goes up a signature ladder. I'm not sure how long that takes - somewhere between one and three months maybe, but I'm guessing. It seems likely now that the company will reserve any announcement about the end of the comment period until it can be included in what we hope will be an announcement about the finalized contracts with Premier and Excelsior at the end of January. This also coincides with the end of the first 30 days trading in the U.S.

Richmond Downs - one more point.

Like I said, there are many notable aspects of Richmond Downs that I didn't mention, but there's one point I left out that is so obvious I forgot it: the location is incredible. I'm not exaggerating. It's central to Vancouver and Richmond and the Fraser Valley. It is surrounded by golf courses, nurseries, parks, and one or two small farms. It is literally minutes from major arterial routes, but would not require any reconfigurations of existing roads.
