Sam Ervin and J. Lister Hill. Not quite as strong of cases as the first two, but I don't think you can reasonably call them conservatives. Yes I only named 4, but thats out of a set of 21 (or really out of the smaller subset that I looked in to). That's a pretty solid number even if there are no other names in that 21. Its 50 percent of those I checked and about 19 percent of the total population I'm discussing (Democratic senators who voted against the 64 Civil Rights Act). More than enough to refute your idea that it was all a bunch of conservatives. and you keep engaging in argument to avoid the facts of what happened in the big picture You can't establish any big picture. The first time I saw you bring it up you were blaming Republicans for not supporting the law. When called on that you shifted to liberals supported it and conservatives didn't, when that's challenged on that you don't have any data about conservatives or liberals at all but about what are of the country people are from. It isn't a big picture issue anyway your making specific claims about people who took a specific vote. I've examined those people and shown that your claim doesn't hold water, at least not as you express it.
