Paul: Regarding intc earnings.I believe the CEO's of big tech companies are aware that bad earnings at this time would be very bad for their stock, their suppliers, the whole industry. I think Andy G. has done all he could( reduce prices, cut inventory, put orders in the books) to make the nunber. It may be close, but not bad. On the yr2000, people I have talked to here are less concerned perhaps overconfident with the attitude "will cross that bridge when we come to it". ses JMHO
