Re:Whoever suggested that MU might buy the MUEI stock that they don't already own got me thinking. If they tendered at $18 per share it would cost them in the neighborhood of $600 million give or take. Most of us would gladly let our stock go for $18 per share. Then they get MUEI which has something like $3-4 per share in cash, so MU essentially buys our stock with half our money. Then they own the whole company and can sell anytime they see fit. Not a bad strategy.

No offense but do you know this for a fact? Can you post a link?

Did Appleton come out and finally said something "out of character"?
