Obama was Trendy. He wanted to be a statesman. When you aim to be Trendy, you don't do what it takes. Trendy is highly popular. It leads to adulation. and Leaders crave adulation. Trendy is the reason why celebrities have publicists. To keep the crafted image of the celebrity. DJT is no Trendy guy and this is the reason people got shocked. The public perception have been shaped by the Trendy politico. Then when someone remove the Trendyness from the rehtoric it hurt their perceptions. Yes, dopey, the sorghum tariffs are not intended to harm American farmers. Trump has cleverly convinced Emperor Xi to impose these tariffs so American farmers will stop growing sorghum which Trump knows is an inappropriate crop for Americans to grow. Tariffs against American farm exports are Trump's heroic attempt to save American farmers from their own foolish decisions which only the mighty Trump can correct. Of course dimwitted Trumpkopfs don't know that American farmers grow sorghum because it's nitrogen-fixing to prepare their fields for more valuable crops which are not. Eliminating sorghum markets are not as triumphant as Donald Trumpkopf believes it to be.
