When you make that comment you engage in a case of false equivalency.

Do you think the Republican party and the Democratic party are the same as regards beneficial social policy for the people in general?

Sometimes political parties are all scoundrels. The Nazi party comes to mind.

I am having a hard time finding any social value in either Trump's cabinet's policies or the Republican parties. If you know of some how about posting them.

I can find tons of political value in the Democratic social policies, from an academic point of view i.e. the social science of what makes for better societies like we see in the Nordic countries.

Deductive logic is a wonderful thing.

So, Democrats are all "political scoundrels" and Trump is "common sense, less political."

"WRT to the former, can you not see how much you sound like koan?"

Your comments even in this relatively mellow post drip with visceral distaste.

WRT the latter, yeah, I suppose you could say he's less political in that he doesn't seem to have either an ideology or a fixed party affiliation. And I would definitely agree with "common." :/

>> Democrats are all "political scoundrels"

I didn't say that.

I specifically referred to Pelosi and Schumer (and and I didn't say it, but Reid before). And while I didn't talk much about Pelosi I explained the source of my issue with Schumer. I could go into detail about Pelosi if you wish.

I do NOT believe all Democrats are scoundrels, idiots, or trying to harm women and children or evil or any of that. I assert that I hold different opinions than most Democrats do with respect to how best to improve the country. I do not hold with the cynical views of Koan and most of those posting on this board and I would think that should be apparent to you.

These views are, in no meaningful wa, similar to (or parallel to) Koan's.
