"The essential point one must understand is that Israel's position is untenable with a nuclear Iran, for two reasons" Iran's position is untenable in the event of a nuclear war. 1) Israel has lots of nukes 2) US has a lot more. We need to make it very clear to both Israel and Iran that we will turn the first user into glass.

To be fair- it's me and the rest of the world (since you like appeals to authority). On your side it's you and a bunch of right wing pukes. Your points are ludicrous. Lots of countries hate Israel- countries that have nuclear weapons. Occasionally I, myself, hate Israel (though I do not yet have a nuke- am building one in the garage, though)- I also hate all the countries in the ME- but I hate Israel when Israel spies on us, or undermines the US, or steals our technology. Israel is for Israel. I am for America- at least for the next few years- and our interests do not line up with Israels. Though they kind of do on the nukes.No country is likely to be obliterated. Nukes have been around for a long time- and anyone who uses one knows their country will soon be a beautiful field of glass should they launch. It's sweet you care so much about Israel- but they probably don't need your love. The only people you need to worry about using nukes are the people who already committed a war crime by using them. That would be the US.
