OT: Pictures of the fence and deck I built for him. We've known each other since we were kids.

In this photo, it shows the corner of my buddy's backyard and the neighbor's garage. The oak tree in the corner has grown over the property line and had split. It was cabled and bolted together. A lot of effort went into saving the tree.

This photo is from the neighbor's driveway and shows the columns around the galvanized posts. Because of the open driveway, they had been visible from the front of the houses.

The centers on the posts aren't totally equal because of old concrete from previous fences built at these 1934 homes, but the posts are spaced 4 foot or less. The columns were capped later.

The fence is a little over 9 feet because of the elevated deck at my buddy's house. There's also an antique wire gate painted black between the neighbor's garage and the fence so my buddy's dog can't get out of the yard.
