I use to tutor some children who were the loveliest kids you would ever want to meet, but they were not cut out for academics; it was a real struggle to get these kids to graduate high school. Some of them made it as car mechanics and plumbers. But others were left out in the cold and would have earned a decent living working in a factory. At least, they would have had a half way decent paying job. The Information age was not kind to these kids.
