Cowboy Brett, analysts whittle down their estimates so the company can "beat" the estimates. The bears are interested in the future outlook which is not good. In short,margin pressure due to lower priced pcs,saturation in the PC mkt-a slowdown in the rate of growth of sales, viable competitors Cyrix and AMD, Asia will no longer be the engine of growth. The net pc which Wintel said would not happen is here-I don't have an opinion on the Net PC but it sounds like a viable concept. I would be interested to hears opinions from our PC experts . We have to see what is said on the conference call. Mike
