Dear Fred, I strongly favour privacy. After all, holliwood thrives on the VHS business model. You rent or buy a movie and that's it. Everything beyond that level of control (on behalf of usage activity) smells alot like Big-Brother to me. What is more, this would be a business-oriented Big-Brother, which would even contradict the "sanctions' monopoly enjoyed by government" in an open, democratic society. That's one of the reason I hope that viewers strongly reject DIVX being forced down their throat.. best wishes CROSSY BTW: see my Libertarian gossip ? <G>
