Michael. Re: Be careful! People look at future growth.

I know. Isn't that great? Margins are still at 59%. So, still a while to go before it hits 50% as forecasted by Intel. gg.

michaelw. re: "Be careful! People look at future growth." tough to ever predict where one will be 6 months from now. IMHO people are very pleased to see .98. my thought process is still to be careful but they call that maturity after the past two years plus we have had.

no reason not to buy stock tomorrow. if one is short now i would say look out short term. buying/shorting into earnings, especially MSFT and INTC is big time risk.

happy trading/investing. avoid the big hit!

INTC is cheaper than SP 500, with interest rates below 5.75
allowing for some PE expansion on European recovery, I see this
stock rather cheap at 90!!!

"Be careful! People look at future growth"

Let's see; intc fell from 100 to 67 or so on "future" expectations of a .88 or less q, and a 1998 year of 3.50.

Now we have an actual .98 q, and a year that will exceed 4.00 quite certainly.

So what should the stock price be? 10-20% over 100 would be a fair assumption if 100 was an appropriate price.

But what about FUUUTURE growth?

" BIG SILICON" is coming <G> Sorry, Paul

And what percentage of people in the world own a pc?

What percentage of pc's are 486 or older?
