Indeed! After the beating we've just taken, you would think that investors might want to just sit back and enjoy a one point rise.

I've been interested to read about the various instances of..."folding" (for lack of a bettter word) that seems to be taking place with some Apple products right now. First certain aspects of the PowerExpress look like they're going to make it into the G3 line, and now it's looking ever more possible that aspects of Rhapsody are going to be released in upcoming versions of the Mac OS. What a great strategy, from just about any angle. Tell people that you're going to be loading up G3 minitowers with 4 & 9GB (*NOT* MB! Ack! Thanks for pointing out that mistake, Eric) hard drives that were once destined for Apple's top-of-the line desktop machines, and they'll begin to forget all about the PowerExpress (which Apple may or may not have been able to deliver on in sufficient quanitiy or quality anyway).

And of course all this saves money, too.

Hang on to your AAPL.

Good luck tomorrow.

Mark

Hi, Sowbug

Don't get me wrong, I'am not starting any rumors ...

I was just speculating like everyone else, rumors have been going on
for over two month's now, mergers & takeovers talk, talk, talk!

WELL, 900,000 shares @ 19.39/64 $ 17,4 Mill Dollars is alot of money to bet on, 20 min. before the close.
The 2,3 mill shares were also bought 20 min. before the close, @ 12.15/16, very interesting!!!!!!!!

Like you said, AAPL is turning to a profit plain and simple.

Time will tell....

GOOD LUCK! to all APPLE SHAREHOLDERS
