Yes, I think there is a larger cycle. We've seen that from ice cores. Plus, there's the sun. That drives a lot of the variability in temps. I also agree with you that we shouldn't tamper with things. However, moving to sources of energy that create less pollution is a good thing for human beings in the long run. Forget about temperatures or rising seas for a second. Wouldn't it be better to not have polluted water and land from fracking, nuclear waste, and coal ash? I like my water pure, like in Iceland. :)
