Several years ago I considered moving about a million US dollars to a different bank when interest rates went to zero, but they offered me only 0% interest. I asked "How about a cup of coffee?" They would not raise their price even to that, let alone a Happy Meal, but he did laugh.

In my youth $1million was a huge amount of money. Now it buys a very average house in Auckland. I have already seen hyperbolic inflation and expect to see US1 trillion notes. Zimbabwe is an exemplar of modern money management. No wonder bitcoin etc have gone crazy.
