CBO says what the gop has done so far is creating $11.7 trillion of new debt. I'm not going to get into a war over semantics. Real fiscal conservatives don't create any debt, therefore,e there's never been a fiscal conservative in modern history.

So let's look at this as normal human beings. You buy a house with $1.9 trillion (the tax cut). You have no idea how much it cost or how you'll pay for it. Then you ask your neighbor (Democrats) to cut their spending and give you their money. But then realize you can sell your house and get out of debt but there's no house to sell since you were too stupid to even get that part right.

A real human being would see the debt numbers, not cut taxes and increase taxes. But there aren't any real human beings left in the gop. Even CEOs are sucking at the teat of government debt. Congratulate yourselves. The gop turned the entire country into socialists who think debt is their money.

Well Tim, a tax cut after spending almost a decade complaining about the deficit is not exactly behaving responsibly. Especially since the deficit could have been addressed in many ways that didn't include a tax cut.

So yeah, in many respects the whole $11.7 trillion is a result of the tax cut. Because it was not a serious attempt to address the issue. Waving your hands and claiming "this will actually cause the deficit to decrease" is not being serious.
