Vegetables in children's diet can help developing a taste for them, but genetics may be a factor.

I've seen it in families where there are multiple siblings all exposed to the same food and only one is a picky eater. It's a huge disadvantage though, not being able to eat vegetables.
Why are children picky eaters? Genetics may play key role

Yes, very good point about nourishing the microbiome (all that gut flora) in order to maintain optimal physical and mental health. I started reading up on it last year when my teenage daughter suffered from amplified pain syndrome; so thankful that she is over it, but I did learn a lot during that time. Oh the wonder of real, whole food instead of processed junk that just masquerades as "food" lol!
