They could raise taxes, but they think it would be the wrong thing to do.

As for the debt, again spending increases are the big problem, not cyclic reductions and increases in tax rates.

There is no reason for anyone to vote for someone who can't govern responsibly.

Following that idea there is no reason for anyone to vote for almost anyone in Washington, whether they have a D or an R by their name when you vote.
