Umm.........I dont think that any sort of short selling can drives stocks down. Public short selling has to conform to the up-tick/zero-tick rule, which was made to avoid the use of shortselling to accelerate the nosedive.

By the way, insider buying is always a good sign. There are a dozen of reasons for insiders to sell, but only one reason to buy. Any chance for insiders who sold earlier to jump back in to make a buck?
