Just to be clear about what I mean by unserious or unsubstantial, I have in mind also his actions, not just his personality, as you first suggested, and not just his words, which you are apparently now including. I have in mind his whole approach to the presidency. A presidency is consequential. It should be sober and thoughtful and earnest and substantial. He's treating it like a reality show, not a real country with history and meaning and real, live people, in which we all have an existential stake. I just hope our institutions hold and/or that we are sufficiently fortunate that we survive said approach and those actions that you favor.
