I doubt he'd waste his time with it, unless there is a lot more there that hasn't been reported. To the extent the money didn't go for campaign efforts its not even illegal. If it did (and I've seen no evidence of that) its a small technical violation about a pretty insignificant amount of money. Of course that's always possible that there is more than has been reported, but its possible about every other political group or organization that receives donations.
