Kim,

After considering the last few press releases I am left with a number of questions that may be shared by others. Any help that you (or others) could provide on these issues would be greatly appreciated.

1. You stated that Franklin Lake is a series of layers of alternating clay the sand gravel down to ??? feet. From that I have assumed that the previously released results from hole five as well as the current homogeneous blend of 25 feet plus or minus a few were all from clay rich bands. Is that a valid assumption and if yes, could someone comment on the ratio of clay to rock in the holes tested sections of the playa?

2. In the most recent release PT was not detected. Then posters suggested that it was not detected because the tests conducted are not for PT. It would not surprise my if that was true for the Johnson assay method, but I feel that I was lead to believe that the Johnson stage 2 and 3 were used for both AU and PT. Could you clear this up for me (and other confused lurkers).

3. My final question is related to the demonstration plant. As should be obvious, I know next to nothing about mining but I have spent a number of years starting up both manufacturing and research plants. The only thing I'm sure I heard was that the equipment should be there in the spring (not positive I heard a projected start up date). Regardless, the engineer types involved very often under estimate the time involved to get a new process up and running. Anyhow, as time goes by the expected start up date always becomes better defined even if it is later than anticipated. Could you please get us an update on when the 5 ton/day plant is expected to be operational? It seems that only when the pm bars start piling will we have the proof that can not be challenged.

As always, thanks for all your time working to advance Naxos and any clarification you can bring to the above issues will be appreciated,

Best Regards,

Steve
